Dear Cubs, Webelos and Parents:
It was great to see so many familiar
and new faces last week at our ice cream kick-off. There were a few announcements
at the meeting that I'd like to remind everyone about.
First, our next meeting at Barton
Elementary School will be on October 4th. We will not
meet on September 27th as Barton Elementary is having their open
school night.
Second, dues are being collected at our
next meeting.
Third, our popcorn sale has begun and
fliers with order forms were handed out. Popcorn
orders are due November 1st, 2011. Also, we have setup three
weekends, so far, for our "Show N Sell" sales. This is when we
meet with our den at places like Pathmark and a railroad station to sell
the popcorn. Each scout who attends receives additional credit for sales
while they were there. Your den leader will have coordinate these dates
with you.
